Director Shawn Levy has stated that fans do not need to watch all the previous marvel films or have existing knowledge of the marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to enjoy the upcoming film deadpool & Wolverine. Levy believes that the movie is built for entertainment and there is no obligation to do prior research.
