Delhi High Court has given permission to St. Stephens College to accept minority students for postgraduate courses through interviews, using a test called CUET.

The delhi high court has ruled that St Stephen’s College can interview minority students applying for postgraduate courses and allocate 15% of the marks to the interview and 85% to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score. Non-minority students will not be interviewed and their admission will be based solely on their CUET score. The court also suggested that the Delhi University consider the college’s infrastructure and the number of undergraduate students admitted when deciding on the number of postgraduate seats to allocate. The court directed the university to create guidelines for seat allocation to avoid arbitrary decisions. The university objected to the college subjecting already shortlisted students to an additional interview, which resulted in a reduction in the number of seats allocated to the college. The court referred to previous rulings allowing the college to conduct interviews for minority students. You Can Read Full News By Clicking On Below Link.
