Bombay High Court has asked the Mumbai Police about the progress of their investigation into the murder of former Shiv Sena corporator Abhishek Ghosalkar. The court also requested the police to provide Call Data Records (CDRs), CCTV footage, and its analysis. The widow of the deceased has filed a plea seeking the transfer of the case to a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) or the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The police informed the court that the investigation is being supervised by a DCP and a meeting will be arranged between the widow and the DCP to address her concerns. abhishek ghosalkar was shot dead on February 8, allegedly by his political rival Mauris Noronha, who later died by suicide.
