Warren Buffett has decided not to participate. A charity that helps homeless people is inviting investors to offer money for a chance to have a meal with the CEO of a software company.

The Glide Foundation, a California homeless charity, will hold an auction on eBay for a private lunch with Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff. The charity previously received millions from investors who wanted a lunch with Warren Buffett. The final auction with Buffett raised a record $19 million. Glide hopes the Benioff auction will also raise significant funds for their budget, which supports the homeless and those in poverty. Buffett endorsed the new arrangement and believes Benioff will do a wonderful job continuing his legacy. The auction will begin on May 5 with an opening bid of $25,000.
